"The Lost Blend" is a short story by the American novelist and recognized classic O. Henry (1862–1910). One day, two friends concoct an incredibly delicious cocktail, but to their horror, they instantly forget the recipe. O. Henry, whose real name was William Sydney Porter, is considered a master of the "Voice of the City" genre, where sparkling humor is combined with deep philosophical meaning.
